About sustainable fittings made of Swedish wood, vintage with history and why thoughtful choices matter more than ever.
This is the first text on this new blog that has my name johannahulander.com /.se . For a long time, I have felt a growing resistance to all quick choices and temporary solutions. Not only in interior design but in general. We are currently living in uncertain times and it makes it clearer what is actually important and what is not. And I know. Interior design does not feel important right now (although it can be a nice escape from reality to dive into all the beautiful interiors in our various feeds). But for those who are rebuilding or renovating their home or office, there are still many interior design decisions that must be made. For me, it has led to me being even more drawn to what takes time, interior design that has already been around for a long time or new interior design that will last for a long time to come. Materials that age instead of being replaced. Paint that gets a patina instead of peeling off. It has also led to me wanting to know what the product I buy is made of and in which country.
So where you are now is a gathering place where you will find Swedish-made interior design that lasts longer than one season, but also a place that brings together my podcast Inredningspodden , the newsletter Fredagsbrevet (fill in your email address at the bottom of the page), blog, new courses and consultation. Welcome! /Johanna
